Specialized Child Protection Units

Savio Direct Link - Target population, substance abusing parents with children 0-12 years of age. Intervenes with families at the point of intake and remains involved until permanency is established and the case is closed;

Family Treatment Drug Court - Target Population, the same as Direct Link, in addition to the specialization of Direct Link, this program offers dedicated court personnel and intensive supervision by the Drug Court Judge.

Multisystemic Therapy - Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) - An adaptation of the MST model to intervene with families with a recent founded report of abuse or neglect (within last 90 days) in which the parents have a history of PTSD. Targets children ages 6 -17. This intensive intervention includes psychiatric services as well as intensive in-home therapy.

Savio CBS/HBI Child Protection - Target population families with young children age birth to 12 years. Intensive in-home services to, offering preservation and reunification services for families with cases from both intake and ongoing units;

Savio Intake and Assessment - Immediate Intake and Assessment response to child abuse and/or neglect hotline reports received by Departments of Human Services. Staff respond in person to the community and work with the police department, hospitals, parents and extended family/kin to secure the safety of the children for the night. Additionally, staff investigate prospective harm cases and assist in the further response and investigation process.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) - Target population, TANF recipients, Staff assist families with meeting TANF program requirements, increase parenting skills, employment skills training, stabilize mental health, connect to necessary community resources, and life skills training.
