Benefits

PAID VACATION TIME

  • After the successful completion of 6 months of employment, employees are granted 40 hours of vacation.
  • During the second 6 months of employment, employees accrue 40 hours of vacation.
  • During the second and third years of employment, employees accrue 120 hours (3 weeks) of vacation each year
  • Beginning with the fourth year of employment, and every year thereafter, employees accrue 160 hours (4 weeks) of vacation time each year
  • Accrued hours may be carried over from year to year

PAID SICK LEAVE

  • After the successful completion of 6 months of employment, employees are granted 48 hours of paid sick leave.
  • For every month thereafter, the employee accrues 8 hours of sick leave, and may accrue a maximum of 240 hours of sick leave.

PAID HOLIDAYS

  • Savio offers to employees 10 paid holidays each year: New Years Day, Martin Luther King or Presidents Day, Spring Break Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and two additional days at the end of the year.
  • If an employee is required to work a holiday due to scheduling coverage, he/she will be paid for that day, in addition to receiving compensatory time off in the amount of the hours worked.

HEALTH INSURANCE

Savio offers group health insurance through Rocky Mountain Health Plans and covers 90% of the individual premium for full time employees. The current employee portion of the monthly premium is $26.69.

Family members may be added to the plan if desired. For the first 18 months of employment, the employee will be responsible for the entire cost of family coverage. After 18 months of employment, Savio will pay 60% of the additional cost for family coverage.

Savio also offers a medical plan for retirees over 59 years old with 20 or more years of experience with Savio.

LONG-TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE

  • Premium paid by Savio
  • Eligible after 90 days of employment
  • Covers employees who, due to illness or injury, are unable to work for a period of 90 days or more
  • Pays 60-80% of employee's salary, depending on the severity of the injury/illness.

PROFIT-SHARING PLAN

After completing one year of employment, employees are eligible to receive contributions to their profit sharing accounts. Contributions are made annually based on salary, and employees are fully vested in the plan after they complete 6 years of employment.

MEDICAL RETIREMENT PLAN

Savio provides a medical retirement plan for qualified employees upon retirement. The Plan provides a cash benefit to those employees who retire from Savio at age 59 or older and have at least 20 years of service with Savio. The cash benefit accrued in the participant's account may be used towards monthly health insurance premiums, supplemental Medicare coverage, and other qualified medical expenses.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Supervision is available for masters level employees working toward licensure.
